Retaining walls across the Northern Beaches.

The Northern Beaches run from Manly up to Palm Beach: a long ribbon of coastal and cliffside suburbs where blocks typically step down toward the ocean. Retaining walls here are structural and frequent. Salt-laden air pushes us toward durable concrete block with corrosion-resistant fixings and tanked drainage. Combined retaining-and-fence builds (block wall with brick fence on top) are standard. Tall walls require engineering certification, especially close to boundaries where council DA is involved.
